Digital WiFi Detector

If you use your laptop when you're out and about (and these days who doesn't?) you know how annoying it can be finding Wi-Fi hotspots. Because despite all the signs in those oh-so trendy coffee shops and swanky lounges, nine times out of ten you still end up having to fire up your computer and pan around for available networks. Boring.
That's why you need the miraculous Digital WiFi Detector. As its name suggests, this pocket-sized device sniffs out the presence of Wi-Fi wherever you may roam. So far, so obvious.
Handheld
But here's the twist: as well as detecting a signal and indicating its strength in a matter of seconds, this ingenious box of tricks also displays essential network info, including network ID (SSID), encryption status (WEP and WPA) and channel. And when multiple networks are present you can scroll through info for each individual network. How good is that?
All the information is clearly displayed on a backlit LCD screen, and with just three buttons (On, Scan and Next) the Digital WiFi detector is truly idiot-proof. Just think, armed with this little gizmo you'll never have to go through the rigmarole of booting up your laptop only to discover there are no hotspots around.
Operated by just 2xAAA batteries the Digital WiFi Detector is destined to become an essential traveling companion for all you roving surfers who don't want to boot up and scan every time you suspect there's a signal nearby.
Best of all (well we think it is) this sleek handheld scanner looks like the kind of thing Mr Spock might use to search for signs of life. And if Star Trek's not your thing, you can pretend you're 24's Jack Bauer, searching for the schematics of some disused nuclear facility. And if those aren't good enough reasons to order a Digital WiFi Detector, we don't know what are!
