Capable of accessing thousands of internet radio stations via your existing Wi-Fi network, the stylish Blik automatically uploads the latest station listings (8000 and counting) every time you switch it on. You can then search for your favorites by country or genre. We've listened to bhangra from Bahawalpur, baseball from Boston, chat shows from Chattanooga and listen-again broadcasts from the BBC - and those are just the infantile alliterative examples. As well as internet radio the user-friendly Blik receives regular FM, although why you'd want your eardrums assaulted by Ryan Seacrest et al when you can listen to some hysterical guy jabbering on about the traffic in Rio is beyond us.
If you do tire of listening to all the lovely radio stations at your disposal, the Blik will also stream music from your computer. You can even plug in your iPod. Throw in a large LCD screen, station presets, various snooze functions and a slick remote control and you're looking at a radio that's liable to render you housebound - but in a good way.
